Such beautiful, unique gifts -- there's nothing like them on the market -- are being designed and created by Elaine Rock, an artist with a vivid imagination, who is the CCB (Creative Concept Builder) of a very special Long Island, New York studio, called "Happy Hang-Ups®." Elaine also creates other equally charming and unique 3-D shadow boxes -- a house in either of two styles -- Victorian or Ranch, in which silhouettes 'pop out' of flower-laden window boxes, containing each person's name written in calligraphy. The foliage surrounding the house is indigenous to the region of the country in which the house is situated. Family name, date of marriage or occupancy, and an address on the mailbox add an extra personalized touch. Pets are not forgotten! Once again, there is a choice of colors for shingles, window boxes and frames; a message can be included. Her "Recipe For a Happy Marriage," is encompassed by miniature cut-outs of spatulas, mixers, hearts, flowers, and, as the crowning glory, a wedding cake surrounded by love birds. New and exciting additions to the line always are being developed. Elaine's 11"x21" Three-Dimensional "Name", "House" and "Occupation" pictures are framed and matted under glass. Her "Recipe For a Happy Marriage" and "Noah's Ark" is 11" x 14" and also is framed with a mat and glass. As for the artist, Elaine Grover Rock is a University of Maryland graduate who has been designing similar pictures and creating other gifts for twenty-five years.
